Another fan boycott of the NHL lockout has been started. This is from ‘Just Drop It’, which is asking fans to avoid spending any money for an equal amount of games missed after December 21. So they miss ten games after 12/21, you then ignore the sport, and refuse to spend any money on the league for ten games. If interested, you can ‘like’ their facebook page.

It’s always been a point of pride for me, to be a hockey fan.  I’ve always seen the sport as a step up from the rest of the professional sports in North America: players just a tad bit classier, fans just a tad more evolved, and games that much better.  

As players of other sports find themselves making headlines for spousal abuse, brandishing weapons, and indictments on drug use, the NHL players are working on making the sport a pro-gay place, coming together for player safety, and all around improving the sport.   http://dlvr.it/24y81q #upthepucks

Madness on the ice of London, er, Philadelphia, um, New York. It’s been an interesting first round to say the least, so we brought Hockeybuzz writer(about the Bruins) and twitter curator Ty Anderson on help us break down all the insanity. No punk news this week because, well, it’s the playoffs.
